About Olivia
I'm Olivia and I'm a first year Veterinary Science student at the University of Liverpool with three years of experience tutoring students from year 5 up to year 13 (primary to A level).
I took two years out after finishing my A levels with four A*s in 2020 and grew my passion for teaching by starting a tutoring business. There is no greater feeling than the one you get on results day when your phone lights up with GCSE students telling you they've passed or managed to get the grade they were dreaming of!

During my two year break from my own education, I have tutored many students, mostly GCSE students, after finding a love for teaching during my second year of college. Last year I had back to back students every night of the week and I've really been able to develop my teaching skills through all my experience!
I typically offer 1-hour lessons, but I'm flexible and can do whatever works best for you. Lessons involve teaching, lots of back and forth with questions and answers from both of us, exam questions and in depth, easy to understand explanations.
My approach is patient, understanding and flexible - every student is different so every lesson is too! I want learning to be fun as well as effective! I also understand that revision is hard and not taught to students properly, so advice on how to revise is always given if needed!
