About Sam
Hi, I’m Sam, a recent A-Level student passionate about mathematics and helping others learn. I studied Mathematics and Further Mathematics, achieving strong results and gaining a thorough understanding of the GCSE and A-Level curriculum.
Having recently gone through the exam process myself, I understand the value of effective revision, clear exam technique, and confidence under pressure. I explain topics clearly and tailor my teaching to each student’s needs and learning style.
Alongside mathematics, I am a Grade 8 pianist, which has strengthened my patience, discipline, and communication skills. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

I am a dedicated Mathematics tutor who recently completed A Levels in Mathematics and Further Mathematics, achieving strong grades and developing a deep understanding of the CCEA curriculum.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are aiming to improve confidence, strengthen core skills, or prepare for GCSE examinations. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into simple steps and encouraging students to develop their own problem-solving skills.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and can be delivered online or in person. I teach CCEA GCSE Mathematics and GCSE Further Mathematics, and I welcome students of all abilities.
As a recent student myself, I understand the challenges learners face and can provide up-to-date exam techniques, revision strategies, and support in a friendly and encouraging environment.
