About Oreoluwa
I'm Oreoluwa, a Year 13 student at WMG Academy in Coventry studying A-Level Maths, Physics and Computer Science, three subjects where problem-solving and clear thinking are everything. I've always been the person friends and classmates come to when they're stuck on a maths question, and that's what led me to tutoring: I enjoy the moment when something finally makes sense to someone.
Outside of my studies I've completed work experience with Rolls-Royce and volunteered as a basketball coach with the Positive Youth Foundation, working with young people in a team setting. That experience taught me how to be patient, encouraging and adaptable, skills I bring into every lesson.
I take tutoring seriously: I prepare for each session, communicate clearly with parents, and always aim to leave my students feeling more confident than when we started.

My lessons are for students in Years 5 to 8 who want to build confidence in maths, with a particular focus on KS2 SATs preparation. As an A-Level Maths student, I remember exactly which topics trip people up — so I'm patient, encouraging, and good at explaining things a few different ways until they click.
Each session is tailored: we start by finding the gaps, then work through them with clear step-by-step methods, worked examples, and plenty of SATs-style practice so students get comfortable with both the content and the exam format. I mix teaching with plenty of "you try one" so learning actually sticks, and I keep things positive throughout.
Lessons are typically 45 to 60 minutes, online. I set small practice tasks between sessions and keep parents updated on progress.
