My first intention is to learn about the student. Interests and dislikes. This way I begin customizing my approach by attempting to find similarities between subjects. I find that learning connections between things we already know can lower the resistance towards learning something that appears foreign. I encourage trusting the process from not knowing to knowing. And when we surrender to learning, we absorb the lessons with grace. Thank
