About Sophia
I'm excited and ready to teach and guide students in making better choices and helping them to find what's right for them and their life. I want to help students be happy with their goals and be proud of where they are at in life. I'm very good with understanding the human brain and the emotions as well as finding better ways of handling something that might be causing negative paths or mindsets. This type of job is nothing I'm not familiar with and I'm ready to help. Any boundaries that students have, please do voice them. I want to have an open, honest, respectful teacher-client relationship, and respecting you and your boundaries is huge to me.

My approach as a tutor is simple but effective especially when I’m focused on helping other students with their personal development. I would like to teach and help students reach their full potential and reach their goals. The steps that I will take with your student is having them write a journal entry each week on their progress and how they feel they are achieving their goals. In the journal entry they will also write down any questions or wants on how i can help them. In the same entry I will have them reflect on their week and what they observed about their environment and themselves. After they read or send me their journal entry I will provide constructive feedback. After I give feedback I will have them focus on small habits to either get rid of or gain to help with their daily lives. If they can not come up with any habits I will challenge them for 30 days to try a new habit that will benefit them in the long run.
