About Rhythm & Reason
Hi! I’m a magna cum laude graduate with a BA in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. My academic journey included serving as an assistant to a college biology lab teaching assistant, where I supported students in mastering lab techniques and understanding core biological concepts. This hands-on experience helped me develop effective teaching strategies and a passion for guiding others in their learning.
My favorite scientific subjects include genetics and immunology, but I’m well-versed in all areas of biology, chemistry, and math. I take pride in breaking down complex topics into simple, relatable concepts, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
As a lifelong learner, I’m always exploring new ideas in science and math, and I bring this enthusiasm into every lesson. Whether you’re an elementary school student building foundational skills or a college student tackling advanced material, I’ll tailor lessons to meet your goals and learning style.
Let’s work together to make science and math your strengths and enjoy the learning journey!

Teaching Method and Techniques
I focus on breaking down challenging topics into manageable steps, using real-world examples and interactive discussions to make lessons relatable and engaging. Hands-on problem-solving and practice are central to my method, ensuring students gain confidence in their abilities.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each session starts with a review of prior material, followed by targeted exercises and exploration of new concepts. Lessons are fully customized to meet each student’s unique needs, whether they’re preparing for tests, tackling difficult topics, or seeking enrichment.
What Sets Me Apart
My passion for learning drives my teaching. I constantly explore new topics in science and math, which allows me to keep lessons dynamic and exciting. I create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.
