About Sakshi
Hi, I'm Sakshi. My love for teaching started early , I was always the one explaining things to friends and siblings, breaking down whatever they were stuck on until it finally clicked for them. That feeling of watching someone go from confused to confident is what pulled me into tutoring, and I've been doing it for over 5 years now.
I hold a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, but what drives me isn't just the subject it's the students. I know what helplessness feels like when a concept just won't make sense, and I've made it my mission to make sure my students never feel that way for long.
I remember working with a student who was convinced she simply "couldn't do science." Before we even opened a textbook, we worked on removing that limiting belief starting completely from scratch and rebuilding her confidence step by step. Over time, she didn't just catch up , she became genuinely good at the subject, and more importantly, she believed it herself.
That's exactly why I teach. My goal in every lesson is to help students believe in themselves, build real confidence, and trust that they can actually do this not just get through it. I don't want learning to feel forced I want it to feel fun. There's nothing I love more than seeing a student fall in love with a subject they once dreaded.
I work with students across Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, from Elementary through Grade 12, including AP and Honors-level support, tailoring each lesson to how the student learns best.

My Teaching Methodology
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all tutoring. Before diving into any topic, I take time to understand exactly where a student is stuck and, just as importantly, why , whether it's a gap in fundamentals, a lack of confidence, or simply a teaching style that hasn't clicked for them yet. Every lesson is then built around that specific student, not a generic syllabus.
My core belief is simple, confidence comes before competence. Many students who "struggle" with Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry don't actually lack ability , they've picked up a limiting belief somewhere along the way that convinces them they "can't do it." My first job as a tutor is to dismantle that belief, often starting from the fundamentals and rebuilding step by step, so the student's own progress becomes the proof that they can.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
Quick Check-In (5 minutes): We start by reviewing what was covered last time and clearing up any lingering doubts , no question is too small.
Concept Explanation (15–20 minutes): I break the topic down using clear, real-life examples rather than abstract theory alone, so the concept actually makes sense, not just gets memorized.
Guided Practice (15–20 minutes): The student works through problems with me alongside them, so mistakes get corrected in the moment rather than reinforced.
Exam-Style Questions (10 minutes): Where relevant, we apply the concept to the kind of questions they'll actually see on tests, quizzes, or exams.
Wrap-Up & Feedback (5 minutes): I summarize what we covered, flag anything worth extra practice, and set light homework or revision so the concept sticks before our next session.
What Sets My Approach Apart
I teach the student, not just the subject. Two students struggling with the same topic often need completely different explanations , I adapt in real time rather than repeating a fixed script.
Fun over forced. I want students to enjoy the subject, not endure it. Lessons include real-life examples and encourage curiosity and questions, not passive note-taking.
Confidence is the actual goal. My measure of success isn't just better grades , it's a student who stops saying "I can't" and starts saying "I've got this."
Cross-subject range. I teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, so if a student needs help connecting concepts across subjects (common in Science especially), I can support that too.
What Students Should Know Before We Start
Lessons are conducted entirely online, one-on-one.
The first lesson is used to understand the student's current level, learning style, and goals this shapes every lesson afterward.
I encourage regular, consistent sessions for the best results, especially when rebuilding fundamentals.
Homework/revision may be given between lessons, but always in a manageable, non-overwhelming amount.

As a parent, what impressed me most was the change in my child’s confidence. Chemistry used to be a subject they avoided, but Sakshi’s patient and structured approach helped them understand concepts and, more importantly, believe in their own ability. She genuinely cares about her students and their progress. I would highly recommend her.
Sakshi is an excellent tutor who explains concepts clearly and patiently. She has strong subject knowledge and makes learning Chemistry and Science simple and engaging. Highly recommended!
