About Fiona
Have you ever been so confused you don’t even know what questions to ask? I’ve been there. This is because we are all taught to memorize, but lots of struggles, I learned to apply and connect knowledge, allowing me to achieve High Honors (top quintile of my grade) with my GPA of 99.7/100. After tutoring more than 50 students and mentoring through my YouTube channel, I have gained the experience of breaking down concepts to allow you to understand while having fun! Excited to see you in class. :)

I focus on teaching you how to apply knowledge rather than just memorizing it. As an undergrad at Johns Hopkins, I understand the challenges of rote memorization without comprehension. My classes are designed to emphasize conceptual learning, practical application, and the integration of concepts across different topics.

I highly recommend Fiona as a tutor. She has tutored me in mathematics over the past academic year, and thanks to her patience and kindness, I achieved my goal of getting As in Precalculus. Fiona explains difficult concepts with simple, everyday analogies, making them easy to understand and apply to other areas. Her patient and understanding approach is perfect for anyone looking to improve their math skills.
