I bring over 30 years of experience teaching high school and college mathematics, along with a graduate degree in mathematics education. My background includes both in-person and online instruction, so I’m comfortable working with students in a variety of learning environments.

I take a student-centered approach, adapting each session to the learner’s goals, pace, and prior knowledge. I begin by identifying gaps and strengths, then explain concepts clearly using step-by-step examples. A typical lesson starts with a brief review, followed by introducing or reinforcing a concept, working through guided examples together, and then independent practice with support. I end with a summary and strategies for continued practice.
