About Gabriel
Hi, I’m Gabriel! I’m a high school senior with a passion for teaching and an incoming Finance major at The Ohio State University. I’ve always been drawn to numbers and problem-solving, and I love helping others develop confidence in math—whether they’re tackling algebra for the first time or preparing for the AP Calculus exam. With top scores in advanced math and a strong background in personal finance, I bring both academic skill and real-world perspective to each lesson. My goal is to make math feel less intimidating and more approachable by breaking down complex ideas into simple, clear steps. I’m patient, dependable, and focused on results—but I also know how to keep sessions engaging and encouraging. As someone who understands the challenges students face today, I work hard to build trust and help students achieve their goals, whether it’s improving their grades, preparing for standardized tests, or simply learning to enjoy math.

Hi! I’m Gabriel, a graduating high school senior and incoming finance major at The Ohio State University. I specialize in math tutoring for middle school, high school, and early college students, including Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, and SAT Math prep. My tutoring style is student-centered, practical, and results-driven. I break down complex math topics into simple, digestible steps—using intuitive shortcuts, and lots of problem-solving practice. I focus on why the math works, not just memorizing formulas.
I’m a student myself, so I know how overwhelming math can feel when it’s rushed or poorly explained. I bring fresh, relatable explanations and speak the same academic language as today’s students. Whether it’s studying for finals, prepping for a big exam, or just getting back on track, I help students feel confident and in control.
My lesson plan looks something like this
Step 1: Quick check-in on the student’s confidence + goals
Step 2: A clear explanation of the core concept using simple language
Step 3: We work through practice problems together
Step 4: I guide the student through independent problems with feedback
Step 5: We review takeaways and I assign (or recommend) focused practice
Every session is customized to the student’s needs—whether it’s improving grades, mastering AP content, or boosting test scores.
