About Telmo
My methodology consists of taking the student to understand the fundamentals of the content in order to build solid foundations that allow the learning of more advanced concepts to be a natural sequence and no longer a piece of random knowledge.
In mathematics, as in the vast majority of "skills", the process of practice and repetition is absolutely crucial to developing competence. The constant test of our knowledge over time, which materializes in practice in the resolution of appropriate exercises and understanding of the content is the key, not so secret but laborious, for success.
I understand that not everyone appreciates the more abstract aspects of mathematical theories. From this point of view, I consider that the knowledge I acquired in physics and engineering allows me to relate these concepts with more natural and necessary applications in the real world. In short, I believe that the proper form of preparation for an exam, regardless of the student's objective, consists of regular study over time and repeated tests of the knowledge acquired.

Concluded the 1st cycle of studies (Bachelors) in the Integrated Master's in Engineering Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico with optionals in the areas of Theoretical Physics. I am currently attending the Master's in Mathematics and Applications in the field of Pure Mathematics, also at the Instituto Superior Técnico.

Remark: The first lesson is not free, contrary to the information on the website. It has a cost of 15€/h if in person and of 10€/h if done through the web. The purpose of part of the first lesson is to understand the objective of the student and the current level. This of course can always be discussed for free over an e-mail and then we just schedule a normal first class.
