About Ambarish
I’m Ambarish, a university student studying Mathematics, driven by a genuine fascination with the patterns and logic that shape the world around us. To me, maths is more than a subject — it’s a powerful way of thinking that encourages clarity, creativity, and problem-solving. I want to teach because I enjoy helping others experience maths in a clearer and more confident way. I understand that many students find maths intimidating, often because concepts are taught as rules to memorise rather than ideas to understand. As a tutor, I aim to change that by breaking topics down, encouraging curiosity, and guiding students to discover solutions through reasoning. Teaching allows me to share my passion for mathematics while supporting students in building confidence and independence in their learning. Seeing students grow in understanding and belief in their own abilities is what motivates me most.

My tutoring approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding and confidence in mathematics. I teach students how and why concepts work, rather than relying on memorisation, using clear explanations, step-by-step reasoning, and guided problem-solving. Lessons are interactive, with students encouraged to ask questions and explain their thinking in a supportive environment. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and concentration level. Each session includes concept explanation, worked examples, and targeted practice to reinforce understanding. I am currently a university student pursuing a degree in Mathematics, with experience tutoring students across a range of topics including algebra, calculus, geometry, and statistics. I am patient, approachable, and adapt my teaching style to suit different learning paces and goals. My lessons are suitable for school-aged students (secondary/high school), exam preparation, and anyone looking to strengthen their mathematical foundations or confidence.
