About KATHERINE
Hello!
I am 22 years old and a Law student living in London. I am a qualified swimming teacher and thus have lots of experience teaching children! I also have experience teaching outside of the pool. I volunteered teaching Spanish at st. Anne's primary school in Whitechapel and during my school years I regularly tutored Spanish to younger children as my family are native speakers. My strongest subjects to teach, however, are Mathematics and Physics.
I achieved all As and A*s at GCSE (A*s in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Spanish and economics) and then moved to Scotland to sit my highers. At my school I achieved the highest mark in physics and 92% in mathematics (with several of my units achieving 100%).
I am very friendly and love working with children. I'm passionate about education and value a positive learning environment. In all my experience, investing in a younger persons education is what I find most rewarding and I feel privileged to have the skill set to do so.
I enjoy tutoring and hope to do lots of it this year!

I have looked at the GCSE syllabuses and made my own power points and lesson plans that aim to give a thorough insight into each subject. This is especially useful for students looking to progress with the subject to A level. I am great at tailoring my teaching style to fit the student. Last year all of my students achieved grade 8-9!
