About Taiwo
As a certified IGCSE Mathematics Teacher by Cambridge Assessment Internation Examinations (CAIE) and a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) and Trainer, I have taught, educated and provided professional guidance and mentoring to several students; some of whom are now practicing Engineers, chartered Accountants, Medical Doctors, Scientists, Architects, and so on.
I have taught Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and sometimes Chemistry to IGCSE, WAEC, UTME, Post-UTME & 100 level students of varying backgrounds for about 15 years in private tutoring at homes, offices and more recently, via online/virtual tutoring as well as in both local and international school settings.

To ensure my students are critical thinkers, collaborative learners and problem solvers in any chosen field of endeavour, an intelligent mix of pedagogic methods such as questioning technique, project methods, individual/group assignments, peer review, etc. are employed depending on these key tripod variables in any teaching situation – the characteristics of the learners, learning objectives and my instructional preferences as a teacher.
Aside Continuous Assessment (CA), I employ several other techniques for assessment of learning (feedback) and for learning and teaching (evaluation) such as open questioning, short/impromptu tests, deliberate but random selection of students to complete, solve/explain a given problem/concept and also engage in after-school reflection of teaching and learning activities for possible corrections, additions and/or improvements where necessary.
