About Mohammed
I am an Assistant Professor in Applied Mechanics with extensive experience teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering. With over 15 years of university-level teaching overseas and more than two years of teaching in the UK, I bring a clear, structured, and supportive approach to every lesson. I have worked with learners from foundation level through to Engineering undergraduates, helping them build confidence, strengthen core understanding, and achieve strong academic results. My teaching is professional, patient, and tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring a reliable and high-quality learning experience.

My Approach to Tutoring I teach in a clear, structured, and supportive way. My focus is always on helping students understand the core ideas before moving into problem-solving. I break topics into simple steps, use worked examples, and check understanding throughout the lesson so students feel confident and make steady progress. Teaching Methodology I combine explanation, guided practice, and real-world engineering examples to make concepts easier to understand. Lessons are fully tailored to each student’s level and goals, whether they need help catching up, preparing for exams, or strengthening technical skills. Lesson Length Most lessons are 60 minutes, with the option of longer sessions, up to 90 minutes, for exam preparation or assignment support. Qualifications and Experience I am an Assistant Professor in Applied Mechanics with over 15 years of teaching experience at an overseas university, where I delivered Mathematics and Engineering courses, and more than two years of experience teaching Mathematics and Physics at an international college in the UK. I have supported learners from foundation level through to undergraduate engineering programmes. Who My Lessons Are For I teach: - Mechanical Engineering students at all levels, and Civil and Electrical Engineering students in their first and second years. - Foundation Year Maths/Physics students - Adult learners returning to study My lessons are ideal for anyone who wants patient guidance, clear explanations, and structured support to improve their understanding and performance.
