About Rose
A current student in maths and physics at the University of Manchester, I love working with other people and consider myself a strong mathematician. I received grade 9s in all my GCSEs (except English language (8)), and here are my following A-levels: Maths (A*), Further Maths (A), Chemistry (A) and Physics (A). Beyond these qualifications, I am also French bilingual. My previous tutoring experience at GCSE maths level has taught me the importance of efficient communication of ideas and forming a stress-free relationship with the student so that all communication is smooth and effective. It has also taught me important tactics to keep students engaged, such as varying tasks during lessons and tailoring lessons to the individual's method of learning.

When I am tutoring, I strive to see progress. I want to build confidence in my students and give them a real chance to greatly improve their level. I pride myself in my efforts to effectively prepare my tutoring sessions and continuously keep track of where my students are at and where they want to be in the near future. Keeping my sessions focused on the main goal of the tutoring is how I believe we quickly see good progress. I ensure that all tutoring tasks are tailored to the specific student and I keep sessions varied and interesting in order to ensure maximum engagement throughout the sessions. My biggest strength in tutoring is being able to maintain a stress-free atmosphere whilst encouraging a great work ethic with my students.
