About Ryder
I am a mechanical engineering student with a strong background in math, physics, and problem-solving, and I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorize steps. I’ve worked extensively with the subjects I will be teaching and continue to problem solve in more advanced classes going into my senior year, so I know the common challenges students face and how to break them down clearly. My approach is to be patient, structured, and adaptable to each student’s learning style. I aim to build confidence while improving both problem-solving skills and overall academic performance.

My teaching methods include a focus on example problems and working out the solution without leaving out steps, which can be the case for some professors or teachers. A typical lesson would include talking to the student to first figure out what they are struggling with, then guiding them through the steps it takes to learn the material. What sets me apart is that I am able to articulate information in many ways, whether it's visually, conceptually, or breaking it down step by step. The lessons could be for any early engineering students that need help with classes such as pre calculus, calculus 1, 2, or 3, physics, and statics.
