About Jyothika
I am an artist holding a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Sculpture and currently work in the field of visual arts. My artistic practice includes themes based on topics such as nature, animals, and the opportunities given by paper pulp and other materials. I also enjoy exploring various approaches, techniques, and methods in my art. I believe that art is a continuous discovery of the world around you, the process of creating, and learning new things.
Therefore, I would like to share my knowledge and experience with those interested in developing their drawing skills or understanding of sculpting, as well as introduce them to the wonderful world of art. I will try to provide you with an opportunity to ask questions and find the answers on your own, experiment with different methods and approaches, and evolve at your own pace.

My online classes focus on drawing, creativity, and art through observation and practice. I teach traditional drawing skills like proportions, pencil shading, still life, and drawing from nature. Moreover, I also introduce students to sculpting, paper mache, paper pulp modelling, and other exciting arts and crafts.
Each one to one class is tailored to suit the needs, interests, and learning curve of the student. My teaching style is more of exploring the creative process and thinking than copying. The classes are beginner-friendly and suitable for kids, teens, and adults. I aim to help students learn art and drawing or unleash their creative expression.
The students will need basic drawing materials for the class, and we can discuss other materials needed for sculpting, paper mache, or any other project during the trial class. The classes can be in English or Malayalam.
