About Nora

Hello everyone! Originally from Toronto, I’m a recent graduate of McGill University, and love to share my passion for music with my students. I’m friendly and organized and welcome students of all ages and interests to my studio. Whether you’re a parent who wants to introduce your child to music, a long-time piano student looking for inspiration, an adult learner who wants to embark on a new journey or someone preparing for entrance exams into a conservatory, my studio is the right place for you!

About the lesson

Piano playing is fun! Improve with guidance from a concert pianist and professional musician. Learn to play your favorite pieces, strive to reach new heights, or prepare for an exam or audition, with step-by-step methods including keeping a practice journal to track your progress, and weekly notes of the lesson to keep you focused practicing during the week. Approach tailored to the needs of individual levels and needs of students. For those studying music theory, harmony or history, as an ARCT recipient of the Royal Conservatory Program (Toronto), and previous peer tutor at McGill, I can help explain the material in simple, easy-to-understand terms, making you feel confident and prepared for the exams. Join me on a remarkable journey exploring the international language of music!

I have had the privilege of being a musical colleague of Nora’s since 2020, when we met during our first year of University, at McGill. I watched her succeed and become one of the top students in our class, graduating with honors. Her intelligence is only rivaled by her skill in helping others succeed. She was generous with her time and was always willing to tutor others if they needed extra help. If you are considering her to be your theory teacher then you will in time come to feel lucky as I do to have made her acquaintance and without a doubt succeed in your educational goals through her expert tutelage.
