About Millie
I have 6 years of teaching experience of various ages ranging from 7 to 24.
I have taught in different musical areas including jazz piano, guitar, music theory, popular music theory, percussion, and samba drums, etc.
I have led school and university groups, workshops, and afterschool clubs in multiple settings (in-class, residential, and during expeditions).

Every lesson is geared towards YOU. We will work together towards improving your practical and theory skills whilst building your repertoire, with a comfortable learning environment suitable for you or your children.
Each lesson will provide you with the focus and guidance you need to make steady progress, removing the "what should I do now?" from your practice. Whilst remaining flexible to what you want to learn and improve on.
Although I can teach classical, unlike many pianists my background is in popular performance. Therefore if you want to learn popular genres such as Jazz, Blues, and Soul, or techniques such as harmony and improvisation - this is the perfect place for you.
Due to lockdown restrictions, lessons must take place online, however, in the future I will be available for home teaching.
