About Nina
My teaching approach for piano focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe that effective communication is key to understanding each student's needs and goals. Integrity is essential in my teaching, as I strive to create a trusting relationship with my students. I set high standards for myself and encourage my students to aim for excellence in their music journey. I also emphasize cultural sensitivity, recognizing that music is a universal language that connects people from different backgrounds.
In addition to piano, I integrate music theory, composition, and improvisation into lessons, helping students understand the broader context of the music they play. I use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on practice, listening exercises, and creative projects. My goal is to develop not just skilled pianists but also confident musicians who can express themselves through music.

I am a passionate piano tutor with 8 years of experience, dedicated to helping high school and college students achieve their musical goals. Throughout my career, I have successfully taught around 250 students, each with unique talents and aspirations. My teaching philosophy focuses on personalized learning, encouraging creativity, and building a strong foundation in music theory and performance. I believe in making lessons fun and engaging while helping students develop their individual styles.
Some of my notable achievements include preparing students for successful performances and competitions, as well as helping them improve their skills and confidence. I am committed to fostering a love for music in every student and guiding them on their musical journey.
