I am Dave Koby, a patient math tutor with after-school program experience. My sessions are orderly, calm, and built around Common Core standards. You will receive a half-page summary of what we covered. I am punctual, respectful, and fully focused on your test preparation and math confidence.

I start with three mixed-review problems to see which prerequisite skills are shaky. A typical 60-minute lesson includes a mental math opener, step-by-step modeling, paired practice with me, independent work with checking, and a two-problem exit slip. My strength is helping students catch their own mistakes before I point them out. My students include pre-algebra through Algebra 2 learners in grades 7 through 11.
