About Joanna

I took piano and vocals lessons from the age of 8 and also studied music at BIMM Dublin Music College for 5 years. I am a singer-songwriter and I love to write songs on the piano. I have taught all ages and abilities in various music schools around Dublin. I have a real passion for music and I am in various bands. Some of the styles I enjoy singing and playing on piano are pop, jazz, country, blues and musical theatre.

About the lesson

Through sight-reading, scales and technique I explain and demonstrate the main fundamentals of music, while adapting my teaching style to best fit the needs of each student. I love to do songs that the student enjoys to help motivate and encourage them in a fun learning environment. I love to share my passion for music through teaching and I think it's important that the student enjoys the material that they are working on. I take beginners to intermediate standard for lessons. I finished all of my piano grades and I teach piano grades from Elementary to grade 8.
