About Euan

Due to the fact that I have been a full time student myself for the past four years, I do not have a major amount of experience in tutoring students in a formal setting. However, when I was enrolled at Copenhagen University, I helped Danish students perfect their English, through devising a programme to suit their needs. Additionally, I have helped Italian speaking students with learning English in the past, in return for them teaching me basic Italian.

About the lesson

Having been enrolled in university for the past four years, my teaching methods place the most importance on mastering the grammatical and written complexities of the English language. With my students, I start off by listening to their own needs and what they want to get out off the lessons, and I then tailor the lessons to fit them. Despite the fact that I believe the most importance should be placed on grammar, I am also a strong believer in learning English orally, and thus aim to arrange opportunities to speak directly with my students.

I believe Euan is an extremely trustworthy tutor because he genuinely cares for his students' continuous improvement. To do so, he allocates a great portion of time to personalising his tutoring approach for each student because he recognises that every student has different needs and preferences in terms of learning.

Euan is a very hard-working and professional tutor. In fact, he helped me improve my writing skills for university-level papers and now I feel more confident when writing and developing ideas for any topic I may have to analyse.
