About Anna
Hello, my name is Anna! I am a graduate from the University of Cambridge with an MSci in Natural Sciences (I specialised in Chemistry, and my master's was in Surface Science). I am passionate about teaching science and maths, as from experience, I have found some explanations of concepts hard to grasp due to specific terminology and/or notations. However, I also believe that with the right explanation, anyone can understand scientific concepts, no matter how complex they first appear. Outside of science, I have worked as a Data Scientist and Project Manager. I also enjoy the theatre, and work as a freelance producer!

I am a flexible, student-led tutor - I am happy to be approached with a specific topic for a one-off session, or run more generic revision sessions to help you feel prepared for your assessments! Lessons are typically 30 mins - 1 hour, but I am happy to tailor times to suit your schedule, timelines and learning style. I have tutored science and maths for secondary school students since the age of 16, and for A level and GCSE from 19. I also have taught Python as part of my job as a Data Scientist to employees across the business. I am happy to tutor anyone of any age, and am able to tutor: - Chemistry up to university level (level 7) - Physics and maths up to A level (or equivalent level 3) - Biology up to GCSE (or equivalent level 2) - Python coding language - I specialise in Python for data analysis
