About Olivia

I am a second year university student at the UofC studying neuroscience with hopes of one day going to med school. I have been giving private lessons for high school math and sciences for nearly two years now
I am also bilingual in Spanish and would love the opportunity to help others learn the beautiful language as well as assist in any translating needs for Latin-Canadians in Calgary.
One of my main interests is music. I was in the Calgary Stampede Showband for many years as a trumpet player but I’ve always particularly enjoyed piano. I took lessons for 9 years and finished the Royal Conservatory achievement exam with first class honours. Although my experience in teaching piano is limited, I would be more than happy to share my knowledge with beginner students.

About the lesson

My philosophy is that there is no one method of teaching that works for everyone. Each student is unique in the way they learn and I taylor my lesson plans according to what works best for them in order to see them achieve their highest potential.
