About Marissa
Math and science can be intimidating. But with the right support and the right techniques, it quickly becomes fascinating! Everyone knows math is more fun when you understand the formulas and the logic b behind them. And on the other hand, biology and anatomy are the study of us!
I have always loved to teach and help others take subjects that are difficult to them and make it easier to understand. Knowledge is a superpower. Learning new things can be hard. But this should create curiosity within you. Ask questions. Ask for help. Ask for guidance. Never be afraid to want to know more.

I have tutored many students before. One of my favorite ways to teach is through visuals and diagrams.
No question is a dumb question! I encourage questions and comments throughout my lessons to make sure you truly understand the content. Even if I do not know the answer, we will figure it out together.
Many people struggle with math and science because of its complexity. But my priority while helping you learn is to break down the information into digestible and understandable pieces, and build up your knowledge.
My lesson plans are simply just moving at whatever pace works for you. At every session we can make goals for our session and work on those goals together.
I can provide services to anyone who needs help with basic level precalc and algebra. But my high level of education lies in biology and anatomy/physiology.
