About Alec
My name is Alec, and I am currently a first-year landscape architecture student at University College Dublin. I come from an international background, having studied in Turkey, Germany, and Hungary, where I completed my IB studies. I have been tutoring on and off for around three years, initially helping friends who were struggling with math. After seeing that I was able to help them effectively, I began tutoring other students online and assisting them with their math courses. What I believe makes me a good tutor is my ability to explain coursework in multiple ways to find the approach that works best for you. I am a friendly and sociable person who can communicate clearly and support you in reaching your highest potential.

As an IB student a year ago, I had experience with the struggles of having math taught to you in a way that just doesn't stick. In my time as an IB student, I was able to tutor students from 3-4s to 6-7s by really tackling the issue of truly understanding the problem and being able to adapt my teaching style in a way that suits the student best.
Lesson lengths are typically an hour long, but I'm happy to be flexible.
Touring for year one or two IB AA SL math students.
Able to help fill the gaps of knowledge that serve as the base of materials for IB maths!
