About Alexandra
Hi! My name is Alexandra.
I am 22 years old and I have just successfully finished my final year at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, studying for an MA in History. I am a highly reliable and inquisitive final year History graduate with significant experience delivering written and verbal communications and working with children.
I have attended boarding school since I was 9 years old and I have been responsible for looking after younger children. As an assistant in girls dormitories, I have been responsible for bedtime duties, morning roll call and helping with homework. Being in a boarding school environment has taught me how to live and work with others in a close knit environment; understanding the needs and wants of others and building close relationships with younger children. My time at school has been extremely useful in helping develop these qualities and I am keen to build on this experience further with this site.
I have also undertaken voluntary work on a weekly basis with my local Junior School. On top of this, I have worked as a volunteer for Camp America in Summer 2018. I coached and mentored 200+ residential international students for 7 weeks in a relaxed and enjoyable environment and led Lacrosse coaching and instruction to develop individual skills, cultivate confidence and teamwork. I am a very approachable, confident and reliable person willing to engage and focus in any position.
