About Nicola
My goal is to become an anesthesiologist, and I'm working toward it as a Biomedical Science student at York University, where I'm currently taking chemistry and biology. I graduated high school as an Ontario Scholar on the Honor Roll, with a 93% average in my Grade 12 STEM courses.
I've also played competitive soccer with Vaughan Soccer Club for ten years. It taught me that real improvement comes from steady practice and good coaching, and that's the mindset I bring to tutoring: patient, encouraging, and always working from a plan.
Between classes, a part-time job, and the gym, I've learned to manage my time well, so you can count on me to show up prepared and on time. And when I'm not studying, I'm usually playing guitar.

Hi, I'm Nicola, a pre-med Biomedical Science student at York University. Math, chemistry, and physics are the backbone of my program, and I was in high school learning these exact topics not long ago, so I remember which parts are confusing and why.
I won't just walk you through the answer. I'll find the gaps behind what's tripping you up, explain things in a way that actually clicks for you, and work through problems with you until you can solve them on your own. That's the kind of understanding that shows up on tests.
Every lesson is built around your goals, whether that's nailing algebra fundamentals, getting through a tough chem or physics unit, prepping for an exam, or turning a good mark into a great one.
