About Lawson
As a teacher with 15 years' experience in the classroom, I have nurtured my teaching skills to suit all kinds of abilities. I love teaching, and my passion brings my lessons to live which keep my students engaged and motivated to do well.
I have high professional standards and always ensure my students feel safe in my classroom. This allows students to explore, contribute and learn from their mistakes and misconceptions. I love to make my lessons fun and memorable, and therefore, I will include animated video in my lessons for key-stage 3 and 4 students.

I teach science and chemistry from the foundation up to ensure a good understanding. I will facilitate your learning by breaking it down into bitesize tasks and build your confidence through solving exam-style questions from your chosen examination body. Biology, chemistry and physics practical will be taught through video simulation or demonstrations, and I will follow it up with questions and tips to build your confidence and knowledge of chemistry in the laboratory.
