About Sam
Hi! I'm currently a graduate student, pursuing my PhD in Mathematics. I may have a deep love for mathematics myself, but I know most people certainly do not. In my teaching, I work with many different students with different learning needs and preferences. Due to this, my teaching style is very reactive - I like to see what you think about a problem or type of problem, and identify what aspects make the least sense to you. Having this knowledge allows me to come up with thorough explanations of the important concepts, without wasting too much of your time or boring you to death. I look forward to helping you with any of your math needs!

I believe in the power of starting with example questions to gauge a student’s understanding and identify their problem areas.
