About Samantha
I'm a student in the third year of my MPhys Physics and Astrophysics degree at Sheffield University. I studied the International Baccalaureate in Sixth Form and took maths, physics, chemistry, english, french and geography so therefore feel have a wide range of skills to share.
I have tutored GCSE maths before and my tutee went on to achieve an A grade.
I am a friendly person and am able to explain concepts in original ways which often helps with developing a real understanding.

I'm currently a university student studying physics and astrophysics. I am happy to give lessons to anyone seeking help below degree level. All I ask is that you are optimistic and willing to try your best!
I strongly believe that a true understanding is the key to success. I therefore place a large emphasis on ensuring a student fully understands a topic above anything else. Then, in order to reinforce this knowledge it is important to try practise problems and questions.
My lessons therefore would begin with an overview of a topic; giving explanations and answering any questions the student has. Once the student is happy they understand we will move on to try questions together, with one or two set as additional work between sessions.
