About Mikhail
Education: - Currently I am pursuing a PhD in Nanotechnology at the University of Trieste (Italy). My Master of Physics degree was achieved at the University of Bologna (Italy) - one of the oldest universities in Europe. The specialisation is in experimental materials physics, semiconductor and condensed matter physics, quantum physics, nuclear physics and computational methods. - My bachelor's degree was held at the Moscow State University of Lomonosov - the most prestigious university in Russia, where I studied both experimental and theoretical physics and mathematical foundations, such as linear algebra, calculus, statistics and theoretical mechanics. Working experience: - Alongside with my research activity, I have been working as tutor in Physics and Maths since 2017. The main audience is high school graduates, who need to pass final year exams and enter a university to study physics or likewise. - Additionally, in 2021 I worked as a lecturer assistant and prepared international students from China for entrance physics exams at the Moscow State University (the most prestigious university in Russia). - In 2025 I prepared a master’s student of Psychology for maths exam at the KU Leuven (the Netherlands). Language proficiency: - English (IELTS C1) - Italian (CILS B1 + practice in Italy) - French (DALF B2) - Russian (native language)

Physics and maths tutor since 2017. Preparation for graduation and university entrance exams, master's degree exams and help with general understanding. Teaching method is straightforward yet fundamental. Each lesson takes two hours (+ 15 minutes if necessary). The first part consists of the topic theory understanding (complexity depends on the level of a student), the second part involves the exercises and real-life cases. Lessons are usually held in English (IELTS C1). Additional languages: Italian, French, Russian (native). Master of Physics from the University of Bologna. Currently a PhD student of Nanotechnology at the University of Trieste (Italy). Specialisation in general and materials physics, quantum physics, nuclear physics, high school mathematics, linear algebra, calculus, statistics and machine learning algorithms.
