About Ada
I believe that with dedicated time and support, students can achieve higher grades and overcome anxiety surrounding Maths and Physics. I am passionate about making Physics and Maths more approachable and helping students discover their love for them. While tutoring, I am also studying for a Master's degree in Astrophysics, so I have up-to-date knowledge (and interest!) of the subject.

My lessons focus on practising problems and running through exams. We will then stop to consolidate and improve knowledge in difficult areas. If the student has a particular topic they would like explained, I am happy to review it and help with any problems. The lessons are supplementary to classwork. Lessons are typically 1 hour and for GCSE and A-Level students. I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Physics with Astrophysics and am currently completing an MSc in Astrophysics. I also have strong GCSE and A-Level qualifications in both Physics and Maths. This means I have a solid foundation in Physics and Maths, and I am familiar with the syllabus and requirements for both GCSE and A-Level. During my undergraduate studies, I was honoured to receive several awards for my outstanding project work and for my commitment to improving the department. I served as a Peer Tutor, providing academic assistance and support to fellow students to help them understand and master the course material. I successfully fostered a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, which promoted academic success among first-year students. Additionally, during sixth form, I tutored a Year 11 student in GCSE Physics, and she achieved a Grade 8 in her final exams.
