About Matthew
I believe in a growth mindset. We all make mistakes, and when mistake is made it is important to stop and say, "I am still learning." Mistakes are an indication of progress and growth. It is important to acknowledge a mistake and to learn from it. Failure only occurs when I look at a mistake and say, "I am bad at this, so I should stop." I now have 3+ years of teaching/tutoring experience ranging from Pre K to undergraduate college students and I have found that students succeed more when they believe that they can get better. In addition to my tutor experience in physics and mathematics, I have also participate in active research in mathematical physics and physics education. I truly believe that anyone can learn anything at their own pace.
