About Anna
I am a Ph.D. student in physics with a passion for teaching, on the path toward becoming a future professor. My research as a student focuses on quantum information theory, but I’ve spent years helping students succeed in introductory physics courses. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into something more approachable, making learning feel a little less intimidating. I have a deep love for math and the way it reveals the hidden structures of the world, and I hope I can share that excitement with you! Outside of physics, I enjoy playing piano, ice skating, and experimenting with new recipes.

I offer personalized tutoring in physics and math for high school and college students. Whether you're preparing for an exam, struggling with homework, or just looking to deepen your understanding, I’ll meet you where you are and tailor lessons to your goals. As a physics Ph.D. student with five years of teaching experience, I’ve worked with students at many levels, from algebra or Newton’s laws to more advanced topics like quantum mechanics or multivariable calculus. My approach focuses on building intuition and helping concepts truly click, rather than just going through the motions. Lessons can be structured around your coursework, or we can take time to fill in foundational gaps and explore topics at your pace.
