About Z
I am a Physics student at New Mexico State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a concentration in Geophysics, a supplementary major in Mathematics, and a minor in Renewable Energy Technologies. After my Bachelor's, I plan to get a Master's in Environmental Science and Policy.
I have been earning a living through tutoring since I was in high school and, prior to covid, worked in my school's Mathematics Success Center as tutor, proctor, grader, reviewer, and Peer Learning Assistant. I am currently working as a substitute teacher and private tutor for high school and college students in my town.

When it comes to teaching and tutoring, I adapt to my students; I will use visual aids, images, or whatever suits the specific student's style of learning.
Lesson plans will vary depending on the needs and demands of the students, ranging from help with homework assignments and problem-solving skills, to methodology, to extra problems and deeper understanding, to reviews and exam preparation, to starting everything from the basics and building up progressively from there.
I also have experience in prep and review for standardized tests such as A-Levels, AP, CLEP, GED, SAT and ACT.
As a tutor, I think that what sets me apart is my belief that absolutely every student is capable of doing great in these subjects, and I focus on teaching confidence just as much as skill.
My lessons are for high school and college students in Math classes, from Math Appreciation all the way through to Calculus II, as well as students in calculus-based and non-calculus based Physics.
