About Maria Cooper

Hi! My name is Maria and I am currently a student at Trinity College Dublin. I have been playing piano for over 11 years, and have completed 7 grades with Trinity Guildhall London, play at a Grade 8 level, and have a thorough knowledge of musical theory at Grade 8 level. I tutor primary school children as a volunteer offering Grinds to those who wouldn't have otherwise been able to afford them, and I've really enjoyed the teaching experience and I am hoping to make this my career in the future. I love helping people learn new skills and the Piano is such a beautiful instrument to learn how to play - both of my grandmothers are skilled Pianists themselves and they inspired me to learn as well!. One-to-one lessons that are 30 minutes in length, with an opportunity to extend to 60 minutes for older and more mature students.
Ideal lessons for beginner pianists and children who would like to explore an interest in piano in the comfort of their home.
Lessons are tailored to suit the student's own interests and goals, whether that be to work through graded examinations or to simply learn for fun.

Details

30 minute lessons are generally advised for younger students, and are priced at €10.
Lesson lengths and times can be adjusted to fit each individual.
Please note that I do not teach lessons at my own home and you must have your own piano or keyboard!
