About Kael
I am a piano tutor with 8 years of experience and a B.Mus in Piano Performance along with an M.Mus in Music Education. I specialize in technical development, expressive interpretation, and collaborative performance. I guide beginners through foundational technique and repertoire, intermediate learners through technical refinement and stylistic development, and advanced learners through complex repertoire, ensemble performance, and stage preparation. Lessons integrate exercises, repertoire study, improvisation, and performance coaching. My teaching style is adaptive, encouraging, and skill-focused. Beginners build basic technique and posture. Intermediate learners refine expressive phrasing and musical understanding. Advanced learners explore repertoire, improvisation, and ensemble skills. Feedback is continuous, personalized, and constructive. Lessons balance technical mastery, artistic expression, and collaborative growth. Outside teaching, I perform, study repertoire, and mentor students for recitals and ensemble performances. Teaching piano allows me to witness learners grow in skill, musicality, and confidence. Intermediate learners refine technique, expressive phrasing, sight-reading, improvisation, and harmonic understanding. Advanced learners explore complex repertoire, stylistic interpretation, ensemble performance, improvisation, and performance preparation. Lessons combine technical drills, repertoire work, creative exploration, and performance simulation. Constructive feedback helps learners improve technique, musicality, and interpretive expression.
Lesson structure is tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners focus on finger exercises, hand positioning, and simple melodies. Intermediate learners work on phrasing, sight-reading, technical accuracy, and stylistic expression. Advanced learners focus on complex repertoire, improvisation, ensemble skills, and stage preparation.
