To My Students,
I want to take a moment to tell you something important: this class will not be like the ones you may be used to. My method will be different—intentionally different.
I'm not here to simply lecture while you take notes and try to memorize everything for a test. I'm here to help you understand, connect, and apply what you learn in ways that feel real and relevant to you. In this classroom, your voice will matter, your curiosity will be welcomed, and your struggles will be met with support, not judgment.
Yes, we’ll cover the material. But we’ll also question it, challenge it, and relate it to the world around us. You'll have chances to collaborate, to think independently, to reflect, and to grow—not just academically, but as people preparing to engage with a complicated world.
