About Fritz
I am a postgraduate student at the University of Cape Town, studying experimental condensed matter physics. I hold a B.Sc. with a double major in physics and applied mathematics, for both of which I received a distinction. During my B.Sc. I tutored a first year engineering course and greatly enjoyed doing so. I realised that concepts I not so long struggled to understand myself came to me very easily and I was able to convey these complex ideas to the students in a way that was easier for them to grasp. Sometimes there exists a gap between teachers and students since they have forgotten what it is like to be a student, and it takes a fellow student to explain something more easily. While these subjects can be incredibly challenging, it is an amazing feeling once something clicks and the puzzle falls into place. I aim to make more students experience exactly that. Having myself achieved 4 A*s in my A-levels and 2 more As in AS-levels before taking the subjects to university level, I know how to both understand the concepts and how to achieve a high grade in a challenging course.

I teach physics (GCSE, A-level), mathematics (GCSE, A-level) and further maths (A-level). Our lessons will be tailored to you personally and whatever goals you wish to achieve. We can work together to help you better understand difficult concepts or I can provide support for assignments or upcoming tests. Lastly, I can prepare you for your final exam. I will either design the lessons in a way that matches your preferred style of teaching, or if you leave the decision up to me I will teach in a manner I find most beneficial myself.
