About Vanitha

I'm Vanitha, a self-taught acrylic artist with a real passion for painting and for teaching children. I learned to paint through years of practice, patience and experimenting with colours and techniques, so I understand exactly how it feels to begin as a beginner. That helps me explain things in a clear, simple way that children can follow and enjoy.

I currently teach acrylic painting classes for children online, and my greatest joy is seeing a child go from "I can't paint" to proudly showing a finished painting to their family. I am patient, warm and encouraging, and I believe every child can paint if they feel relaxed and supported.

I prepare each lesson carefully, I always start on time, and I send a simple materials list beforehand, so your child arrives ready to enjoy the class. I adapt each lesson to the child's age, pace and interests, and I keep parents informed about their child's progress.

I would love to meet you and your child in the free first session, where we can see if we're a good match.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Vanitha, a self-taught acrylic artist who loves teaching children to paint. My lessons are for children aged 7 and above, from complete beginners to young painters who want to improve.

Each lesson is 60 minutes, live and one-to-one on Google Meet, so your child gets my full attention and can ask questions at any time.

I teach step by step. I start with a short warm-up, then paint each stage live on screen while your child follows along, one technique at a time: brush strokes, colour mixing, blending and layering. In the last part, children add their own ideas, so every painting is unique. I use simple language and gentle, encouraging feedback, and I adapt every lesson to your child's age, pace and interests. Your child will learn to hold and use brushes, mix colours, plan a painting and finish it with confidence, working on animals, flowers, sunsets and landscapes.

I learned painting through years of practice and experimenting with acrylics, so I know how it feels to start from zero and how to explain things in a way beginners can follow. I currently teach kids' acrylic painting classes online, and I love seeing children grow in confidence with every painting.

Before our first lesson, I'll send a simple materials list: acrylic paints, brushes, canvas or thick paper, a palette and a cup of water.

My lessons are relaxed and about enjoying painting, not being perfect. Your first session is completely free, so you and your child can see if we're a good match. After that, you can book regular lessons at the hourly rate shown on my profile.
