About RENATA

I taught English for 5 years, students of all ages from 8 to 60, and of all levels. I have prepared several students for interviews, to exchange and to travel and to be independent. The most dedicated can understand and communicate in less than a year. It is very rewarding to see a student begin to understand and converse easily, having started as a beginner in the language.

About the lesson

I studied 9 years in school, and left with very weak English, with little conversation. What I did for the next 15 years was what helped me greatly improve my fluency, listening and vocabulary. I do not work with books, I prepare the classes so that the student can record each story and communicate using what he has learned. I use videos, movies, music, texts, games. The classes are well directed to each subject. For example: If we study Simple Present, we take the grammar, we do a dialogue, and we do the oral exercises and the writing is done as a task, from there we see a song, a video, a text ... all in the present until the student learn the lesson, and move on to the next.
