About Carla

I am a professional artist of 40 years, with degrees from some of the most influential colleges, Purchase College in New York, Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida, Miami College, and several private art community collectives. I have my own art business and teach art to give back what I have received over my lifetime of education and practice.
I am light hearted and fun in personality. I make art fun and enjoyable as I teach the fundamentals and some fancy manipulations of the media. I will add to the fun with multimedia, layering of different media upon each other for unique results. Art is for the enjoyment of the soul, to express yourself, and in the process it heals the heart. I have a degree in "Art and Healing" which is an expressive art form, similar to Art Therapy, but putting the control in the hands of the artist and their desire of becoming aware of there deep feelings through the art process.
I am a healer, and I share the healing techniques of art making.

About the lesson

I teach with kindness the simple approaches to painting light and reflection, shadow and perspective. These are the basic to creating anything that you want. I always offer two methods for each lesson, this ensures that you understand from your perspective and grasp the concept with your choices. You are the creator through your choices and control is in your hands and eyes. I am the guide to help you discover your path and approach. My art lessons are structured toward each individual, of any age.
