Alex taught and mentored me in Art for three years. He is the most encouraging, supportive and creative teacher I have ever had the pleasure of being taught by. He is openminded and challenges your thinking to ensure your development as a learner. He is a talented artist and the epitome of what a Superprof should be.

Alex was my Visual Arts teacher at high school. He is humorous, knowledgeable and creative. The enjoyment I found in the conceptual depth and technical mastery of his artistic expression, inspired me to study Fine Arts. Since then I have had a solo exhibition and been on many group shows, as well as having completed many commissions. Alex's advice and investment has been instrumental in achieving all of these endeavors. I have regularly met with him to receive guidance within my professional career. He is a master sculptor, but his technical skills extends across many mediums and styles.

I have witnessed Alex first hand teaching, he challenges students to grow, all the while nurturing their individual talents.

Alex is my Visual Art teacher. He is superb at helping with the development of projects and ideas for projects. He is supportive and helps one to transform an idea into a reality. He often suggests better ways of going about transforming an idea into a reality which often leads to an artwork that is both aesthetically captivating and intellectually interesting. He encourages a challenge and has pushed me out of my comfort zone to help me discover my style as an artist. I would recommend him as a tutor.

Alex Trapani is a very helpful Art teacher whose full of knowledge and ideas and takes a hands on approach and personal interest in each of his students. He cares for the art and the person behind the art, he provides useful tips about how to improve and endless recommendations on artists to look into and be inspired! Alex is passionate about the work he does and is able and willing to give a gentle push to students towards new avenues that students may have never thought of trying before.
His grasp of subjects and knowledge has been built up over years of experience both as a teacher and working artist, my time being taught by him introduced me to art forms and styles I had never really considered but found out to be perfectly what I needed.
Most importantly, Alex has a good grasp on people and how they work, this helps with the emotional aspects that are prevalent in art.
