About Direct
I'm a native English speaker from Canada, and I've been teaching English to business professionals since 2011. I also speak French, Spanish, Portuguese and Haitian Creole, so I know what is involved in learning a new language. I love to travel, swim, cook, read, play music, go out with friends and walk with my dog.

In my classes, I focus on conversation. I want my students to speak as much as possible. I like to use TED conferences, and YouTube conversation videos, as a basis for conversations. This helps my students to get used to expressing their ideas and opinions in English. I will give you homework to prepare for your next class: a grammar exercise to complete, or a video to watch that we will discuss.
Also, I offer specialized classes for job interview or presentation preparation. I have helped many students to prepare for job interviews and meeting presentations, so that they can give structured answers, fluent and engaging presentations, and feel confident expressing themselves in public.
