About Tom
After beginning my piano lessons at age 4, I played classical piano all the way to grade 8. Around 2019 I created a small jazz band mostly focused on standards. This eventually evolved into a rock band playing music from Phil Collins to Toto. At the same time I joined a funk band focused on playing music by the Bee Gees, Chic, Kool and The Gang etc. Within the last year I have also joined a reggae band and played in numerous music festivals (Victorious). I have done hundreds of paid gigs as a professional pianist, guitarist and bassist. These lessons not only will teach you the basics of the instrument but also provide the musical foundations for transferable skills to playing in different groups.
