About Kate

I've always been fascinated by the process of learning and the joy of discovery. This passion led me to pursue a Masters degree in Primary Education, where I honed my skills in creating engaging and effective learning experiences. With extensive experience in corporate positions and three years of private tutoring, I've had the privilege of guiding countless students towards academic success and personal growth.

I believe in quality education for all students, regardless of entry point as this will open doors and create opportunities.

About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology:
My tutoring approach is centered on creating a positive, engaging, and personalised learning experience for each student.

I employ the following techniques:
1. Interactive Learning: Hands-on activities, games, and visual aids to make learning fun and memorable.
2. Personalised Instruction: Adapting my teaching style to suit each student's learning preferences and needs.
3. Positive Reinforcement: Celebrating achievements and progress to boost confidence and motivation.
4. Real-world Applications: I connect mathematical concepts to everyday situations to enhance understanding and relevance.
5. Scaffolded Learning: I break down complex concepts into smaller, manageable steps to ensure thorough comprehension.
6. Regular Assessment: I conduct informal assessments to track progress and adjust our focus as needed.

Qualifications and Experience
