About Emma
I am a qualified teacher who has been teaching and tutoring Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths for Cambridge and CAPS syllabus. In 2013 I tutored a 1st year Botany Module at Nelson Mandela University. From 2014 to date I tutored individuals and groups from various organizations e.g. Masufunde Learner Development , House of Wells, Ikamva Lethu Academy, Walmer High School and I am currently at Tebogo Kgobokoe Arts Academy. I am familiar with the CAPS and Cambridge syllabuses.

My teaching philosophy is to adjust my teaching method according to the learner, not that the learner adjusts to my teaching style. I am aware that there are auditory, visual and kinesthetic learners and I structure each lesson according to the learners needs. I always make sure to use examples they are familiar or indigenous to them. I ensure that the complex principles sound as simple as possible. Above all, I ensure that their learning experience is fun.
